Vodafone activates default services in your account such as mobile data connection etc. without the customer's knowledge or permission and then they present them with exorbitant amounts in bills. By the time you realise it it is too late ! These services that they activate in your account are termed as "default services" by them. Vodafone customers please be careful !
For example they activate mobile data connection in your account without your knowledge then the mobile data ( GSM network ) automatically gets connected and activated on your phone whenever Wifi gets lost or it's signal strength is weak. This information is based on many customers' feedbacks regarding the same. And even when you put in a request to deactivate that unwanted service immediately, you are already charged for it and it is restored back the next day even after deactivation. So be alert ! And please make sure that you have not selected or activated mobile data connection even in your settings on your phone to doubly protect yourself fully if you do not want it.
Vodafone customers be careful ! You can be charged for services that you have not subscribed to like ISD or Mobile data because Vodafone activates these services in accounts of customers without their knowledge and permission ! This is their way of making money from every customer. I have customers who have reported this and I myself had gone through the same when I was a Vodafone customer. One is better off with Airtel.

ReplyDeleteWe had raised the same complaint with the Nodal office and they have resolved it. It seems that somebody heard and believed at last and it is sincerely appreciated that this time they resolved the issue fairly and that too at the earliest considering that it concerned senior citizens. The Nodal office generously resolved it just in time for Christmas and truly demonstrated the spirit of giving this time in the festive season.
After so many years for the first time I felt that Vodafone responded positively and fairly to a complaint of the customer and I must compliment the Nodal Office Mumbai and New Delhi for that. My mail reached the Mumbai Nodal office and they immediately forwarded it to the New Delhi Nodal office.
As you know I personally had a very bad experience with Vodafone last year which broke my association with them but their judgement today concerning senior citizens made me believe that there are still people at Vodafone Nodal team who are actually sensitive to the problems of customers.
This makes me hope that Vodafone will now stand committed to it's customers and work on building a better relationship with it's customers in the future.
This time I believe that I must give a positive feedback irrespective of my previous experience with Vodafone as the recent resolution provided by the Nodal office definitely calls for a compliment ! I hope they continue to realise the customers' problems when they find truth in the complaint of the customers because it will only enhance their relationship with customers and invite trust from customers.
And customers please don't give up hope as someone may hear you after all if you are truthful and determined...Stand up for yourself and be persistent in getting heard ! You may not always win all battles even if truth is on your side, but you may win some !
